Managing Your Dropp Account
Your Dropp account gives you complete control over your pet waste removal service. This guide explains how to manage your account settings, update your information, and customize your preferences.
Accessing Your Account Dashboard
To access your account dashboard:
- Visit trydropp.com or open the Dropp mobile app
- Click or tap the "Log In" button in the top right corner
- Enter your email address and password
- Click or tap "Log In"
Your dashboard is the central hub for managing all aspects of your Dropp service.
Account Settings Overview
Your dashboard contains several sections:
- My Profile: Update personal information
- My Properties: Manage your service locations
- Service Plan: View and modify your service plan
- Billing & Payments: Manage payment methods and view billing history
- Notifications: Control how and when we contact you
- Service History: View past service reports and photos
- Upcoming Services: View and modify scheduled service visits
Updating Your Personal Information
To update your personal information:
- Go to "My Profile" in your dashboard
- Click "Edit Profile"
- Update any of the following:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Password
- Contact preferences
- Click "Save Changes"
Important: Changing your email address will require verification of the new address.
Managing Multiple Properties
If you have multiple service locations, you can manage them all from one account:
- Go to "My Properties" in your dashboard
- To add a new property:
- Click "Add New Property"
- Enter the address and property details
- Configure your service preferences for this location
- Save the new property
- To modify an existing property:
- Select the property you wish to edit
- Click "Edit Property Details"
- Update any relevant information
- Save your changes
Each property can have its own service schedule and plan.
Payment Methods and Billing
To manage your payment information:
- Go to "Billing & Payments" in your dashboard
- To add a new payment method:
- Click "Add Payment Method"
- Enter your card information or connect your PayPal account
- Set as default if desired
- Save the new payment method
- To update an existing payment method:
- Select the payment method
- Click "Edit"
- Update the information
- Save your changes
- To view billing history:
- Navigate to the "Billing History" tab
- View all past invoices and payments
- Download receipts for your records
Setting Up AutoPay
For hassle-free billing:
- Go to "Billing & Payments"
- Toggle "AutoPay" to ON
- Select your preferred payment method
- Save your preferences
With AutoPay enabled, your payment method will be automatically charged according to your billing cycle.
Customizing Notification Preferences
Control how and when Dropp communicates with you:
- Go to "Notifications" in your dashboard
- For each notification type, select your preferred contact method:
- SMS/Text
- Mobile App Push Notification
- All or None
- Notification types include:
- Service Reminders (24 hours before service)
- Service Confirmations
- Service Reports
- Billing Notifications
- Special Promotions and Offers
- Company Updates
- Save your preferences
Viewing Service History
To review past services:
- Go to "Service History" in your dashboard
- Browse through the list of completed services
- Click on any service date to view:
- Service details
- Technician name
- Before and after photos
- Notes from the technician
- Use the search or filter options to find specific service dates
Scheduling or Rescheduling Services
To manage your upcoming services:
- Go to "Upcoming Services" in your dashboard
- To reschedule a service:
- Find the service you need to reschedule
- Click "Reschedule"
- Select a new date from available options
- Confirm the change
- To request a one-time additional service:
- Click "Schedule Extra Service"
- Select a date and service details
- Confirm the additional service
Note: Reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
Canceling or Pausing Service
If you need to cancel or temporarily pause your service:
- Go to "Service Plan" in your dashboard
- To pause service (temporary):
- Click "Pause Service"
- Select the pause duration
- Specify a restart date
- Confirm the pause
- To cancel service (permanent):
- Click "Cancel Service"
- Complete the cancellation survey
- Confirm your decision
Note: Service pauses and cancellations must be submitted at least 3 business days before your next scheduled service.
Privacy and Data Management
To manage your data privacy:
- Go to "My Profile"
- Click "Privacy & Data"
- From this section, you can:
- View our privacy policy
- Manage data sharing preferences
- Request a copy of your personal data
- Delete your account (this will cancel all services)
Account Security
Dropp takes your account security seriously. We recommend:
- Using a strong, unique password
- Enabling two-factor authentication:
- Go to "My Profile"
- Click "Security Settings"
- Toggle "Two-Factor Authentication" to ON
- Follow the setup instructions
- Regularly checking your account for any unauthorized activity
